Seal-it® 575 PRESS-BAND KOMO is a high-quality, open-cell polyurethane foam tape for joint sealing, that retains its elasticity and that is impregnated with fire-retardant and environmentally friendly acrylic resin. Specifically for a durable joint seal that is resistant to driving rain.
Applications
- Particularly suited for use as a durable joint sealing tape between/along various façade components, such as sections, windows and door and window frames.
- Can be used as a high-quality joint sealing tape between/along numerous building components to counteract dust, draughts, moisture, noise and heat loss.
- Excellent for use as backing for sealants, to achieve proper joint depth and prevent three-sided adhesion.

- Paintable with common water-based paints.

Application conditions
- The materials and surface must be firm, dry, grease-free, oil-free and dust-free.
- A measuring tape, putty knife, scissors or knife and possibly also wooden shims are needed for application.
- Cut off the precompressed start and end pieces.
- When rolling out the tape, take an additional 1 cm.
- For vertical joints, start applying from the bottom. Apply tape strips contiguously.
- We recommend contacting us before working with paint, adhesive and natural stone.
- Seal-it® 575 Press-band should not come into contact with solvents or aggressive chemicals.
- Seal-it® 575 Press-band should not be applied in the corners of door or window frames.
- Apply Seal-it® 575 Press-band contiguously.
